Dr. Lee Dodge, O.D. graduated with honors from the Southern California College of Optometry,
one of the world's highest rated schools in the field. His prestigious internships included
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, the National Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland
and Barnett-Dulaney-Perkins Ophthalmology Center in Phoenix, Arizona. He holds two
undergraduate degrees from the University of California, Irvine: one in Biological Sciences and
one in History, with a specialization in comparative culture and religion.
Dr. Dodge serves on the board of the San Fernando Valley Optometric Society, and is a certified
member of the California and American Optometric Societies. Past positions held include
President of the Spanish Optometric Association and National Liaison for the AOA PAC. Devoted
to serving the community, he provides free eye screenings to local schools and lectures on the
importance of eye health. He holds many industry, association and peer group awards.
He has become the doctor to whom many other optometrists and ophthalmologists turn when
confronted with challenging cases, including patients requiring a specialty contact lens fit, vision
training or consulting about low vision devices. He works closely with many well-known
ophthalmologists to co-manage refractive surgeries, cataract surgeries and patients requiring
additional consultation in the areas of glaucoma and macular degeneration.

business since 1984. His experience extends to both corporate and private
optometric offices.
David enjoys seeing Visualeyes patients year after year. Many patients have kept
coming back for his help in choosing the perfect frames to fit their evolving looks
and personalities. His warmth, friendliness and innate charm make David one
of our most valued assets.
Outside the office, David enjoys theater, writing screenplays, traveling and
spending time with friends and dogs. Be sure to ask him about his dog (check
out the picture on his desk) before you leave the office!

Born in Brooklyn and raised on the East Coast, Rochelle came to sunny California
during her high school years. She has been working in the optical field since
1995, and has managed some of the largest retail chains in southern California.
When Dr. Dodge (her favorite optometrist) assumed ownership of Visualeyes, she
decided it was time to take a stab at private practice. Now she can’t imagine being
anywhere else.
Rochelle has thoroughly enjoyed getting to know existing Visualeyes patients, and
she loves meeting new ones. And, like David, she has quite a knack for helping
you choose the perfect frames for your face. Her warm and genuine care puts our
clients at ease and lets them know how much we value them.

Dr. Manisha Chowdhry, O.D. is a native of sunny southern California and has been with
Visualeyes Optometry since October 2010. Like Dr. Dodge, Dr. Chowdhry is an anteater,
receiving her bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California- Irvine
in 2005. She went to complete her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of California,
Berkeley School of Optometry, graduating with honors.
Her optometric experience includes externships at the Omni Eye Services in Atlanta, GA,
Veteran's Affairs Medical Center in Portland, OR, and University Health Clinics at California
State University, Northridge/ LA. She has had extensive training in contact lenses, ocular
disease, pediatrics, and pre- and post-operative co-management of LASIK and cataract
surgery. Her California state license allows her therapeutic privileges, as well as the
treatment and management of glaucoma.
Dr. Chowdhry is currently a member of the AOA, COA, and the San Fernando Valley Optometric
Society. She has participated in numerous vision screenings throughout Northern and
Southern California, and continues to promote the importance of eye care in the community.

Brenda- Optician
Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, Brenda is our newest member of
the Visualeyes family. Brenda has been working in private optometric offices
throughout the San fernando Valley since 2006 and is a graduate of the
American Career College in their optical program. After starting and completing
her internship at Visualeyes Optometry, she couldn't be happier being a part of a
warm, caring and cheerful team. When not working, Brenda also volunteers her
time on behalf of the Remote Area Medical USA, by helping to fit and dispense
free glasses to patients in need in Southern California.
